We only process your personal data for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Use of Google Ads conversion tracking

We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on our website and in this context conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; Google).

We provide Outbrain with content (e.g., ads) that Outbrain delivers to readers within their network based on their interests. To display this content, Outbrain uses cookies that are stored on the user's device. Outbrain assigns a UUID (unique user ID) to each reader who interacts with Outbrain's widget (which contains the client content). The UUID is an anonymized IP address (the last octet of the IP address is removed). This UUID attaches to the reader's device and varies depending on which browser is used. Based on the UUID, Outbrain catalogs and analyzes the content the UUID consumes on partner sites to recommend additional relevant content for that specific UUID.
